The Duchess of Sussex mixed sentimental throwback garments with high-end looks during her three-day tour of Nigeria - but still wore nearly £120,000 of jewellery and new clothes.
Meghan Markle, 42, has quickly established herself as a fashion inspiration to thousands of fans, known for her love of quiet luxury layered with glittering jewels worth thousands of pounds.
While opting for some high-end brands on her whistle-stop tour of Nigeria, such as Carolina Herrera, Altuzarra, and Johanna Ortiz, Meghan also showcased designs from local designers.
In representing Nigeria, which she now refers to as 'my country', Meghan looked to Lagos-based womenswear brand Oríré, and for her native California, the Duchess supported Santa Barbra designer Heidi Merrick.
However, racking up the pounds on Meghan's bill were her jewels, including Princess Diana's £17,800 Cartier watch, a £15,011.84 'Against Evil Eye' bracelet from Lorraine Schwartz, and a pair of hammered disc earrings from Jennifer Meyer for a cool £2,605.

While a working member of the royal family, the cost of Meghan's clothes for work engagements was covered by then-Prince Charles through the budget he gave the couple from the Duchy of Cornwall.
But after the couple said they wanted to be financially independent, it is not clear who is picking up the bill for Meghan's clothes, or whether the Duchess always pays full price for her clothing, or receives discounts from designers.
Here, FEMAIL calculates the value of Meghan's wardrobe for her 72-hour tour of Nigeria, only taking into account the cost of items once and not counting recycled pieces.
